Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in the poultry industry have fallen by over 75 percent since 1992, according to a new report sponsored by the National Chicken Council, the National Turkey Federation, and the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association.
The report, titled, "Ergonomics in the poultry industry: a review of 25 years of industry efforts," chronicles MSD prevention and early treatment efforts and their resulting impact on workplace health and safety.
