Report encourages food labeling reform

Print

Among the report's suggestions are improvement for front-of-package nutrition labeling and the nutrition facts panel as well as modernized ingredient labels. CSPI also argues that USDA and FDA should rely on rulemaking and not case-by-case enforcement to prevent products from being mislabeled.
