Print
chickenThe Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced lifting of ban on import of poultry products from Pakistan.

According to an announcement issued from Trade Ministry, the Saudi authorities in the past imposed a ban on import of chicken meat and eggs from Pakistan due to concerns regarding spread of bird flu.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has recently declared Pakistan as country free from bird flu, so the exporters from Pakistan can export poultry items to Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia, however, announced that the products imported should be in accordance with the specified health conditions and technical terms of the Kingdom.
