The Centre for Food Safety suspended processing applications following confirmation of an outbreak of avian influenza H5N1 on a poultry farm in Saschen in October. No more avian flu cases have been reported in Germany.
The centre will monitor the situation in Saschen and restrictions on imports from the province will remain for the time being.Source: News.gov.hk
