Kuwait yesterday said it has imposed a ban on imports of all types of birds and eggs from France and Canada because of an outbreak of bird flu.
The state authority for agriculture affairs said the ban was based on information from the World Organisation of Animal Health about outbreaks of the disease in those countries.
