(Israel) More than forty-thousand turkeys were set to be slaughtered Tuesday at Kibbutz Rosh Tsurim in Gush Etzion after the deadly bird flu virus was discovered in one of the coops, Israel Radio reported.
Veterinary Doctor Michelle Blaish confirmed that the extermination will not be carried out in other chicken coops on the kibbutz because no abnormal activity was reported outside the one coop.
