Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Masimov has ordered to include the issue of the poultry industry development into the livestock development program in order to reduce country’s dependence on poultry imports.
”We're always talking about livestock development. I think that poultry should also be within this program, because if we do not support and develop domestic production our country will remain strongly dependant on imports”, K. Massimov said during the meeting of the Ministry.
He reminded that basic measures of livestock development have already been taken. “The President has allocated the funds to support this industry. We are building a radically new system that will allow a tremendous increase in export capacity and the saturation of the domestic market”, Prime Minister said.
