From March 9-11, VIV Asia will again take place in Thai capital Bangkok. According to the show organisers, strong interest to participate with more and bigger stands, indicates that the event will surpass all previous editions.
The Feed to Meat event in Bangkok seems to be the preferred meeting place for visitors. And not only from Asia - key decision-makers from Europe, Russia, Africa and the Middle East are planning to attend VIV Asia 2011. This is very good news for many exhibitors who were also present at VIV Europe 2010. It appears that VIV Asia is well on the way to making up for the significant numbers of visitors who were unable to travel to Utrecht due to the airport closures in April 2010.
With still another four months before the opening, this prominent trade show for the Asia-Pacific animal production and processing industries already has a larger surface area (nearly 14,000 m²) than the previous edition in 2009 (12,800 m²) with an even more diversified range of exhibitors. Up until early November almost 500 exhibitors had registered to take part. This is considerably more than two years ago in the same period.
VIV Asia has been enhanced with the addition of three special themes; Feedtech-Croptech Asia, LAB@VIV Asia and ChinaVisions. In addition, the new trade show Aquatic Asia will be staged in co-location with VIV Asia. VIV Asia presents the entire Feed to Meat supply chain. The conference program will provide detailed coverage of all the sectors of the trade exhibition concept and the special events. VNU Exhibitions Europe, the Netherlands, is staging the event in cooperation with N.C.C. Exhibition Organizer NEO, Thailand. The organizers are targeting visitor groups throughout Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and South Africa.
VIV Asia 2011 will take place from 9 to 11 March 2011, at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre BITEC.
After careful consultation with exhibitors and visitors of VIV China, the China National Animal Husbandry Service and VNU Exhibitions Europe, organizers of this trade exhibition in the animal husbandry industry have agreed to move VIV China back from a yearly to a biennial frequency.
Most stakeholders involved feel currently a two year cycle will fit market needs better. VIV China will take place in Beijing in the even years. Dates of VIV China 2012 will be announced soon.
