Redcomb Genetics Ltd was formed in 2009 to publish as ebooks the history of individual poultry breeding companies of the past and present. The author and Director, Kingsley Smith, visited most of the breeding companies throughout North America, Western Europe and Australasia during 1995 to 2005 to interview founders and former and current employees, and collecting press and journal articles and company literature from all available sources.
The ebooks are accessed for purchase through the company website www.redcomb.co.nz.
The stories that are currently published are in one section. Those that are to be published in future are in another section and each of these has a free, brief history. Expressions of interest in any of these as complete histories can be indicated on "Click" bar. To date, the histories written are Kimber, Warren, DeKalb, Babcock, Euribrid, Hypeco-CPI-Bovans and Shaver. Each of the stories are available for sale as ebooks to download as pdf files for $6NZ.
