Print

Dr. Ir. Gerard Albers will be appointed Director of Hendrix Genetics Research & Technology Centre and member of the Management Committee of Hendrix Genetics in Boxmeer as of 1 August 2008.
He will be taking over from Servé Hermans who was the Research & Technology Centre's interim director. The Research & Technology Centre supports the breeding divisions of the Hendrix Genetics with state of the art expertise and technologies that are shared between the various species. These technologies include molecular genetics, statistical genetics, bio-informatics, reproduction technology and breeding information technology. The Research and Technology Centre runs collaborative projects with major academic institutions and companies around the world.
On the other hand, Ir. Servé Hermans will be appointed Managing Director of the laying hens division ISA of Hendrix Genetics in Boxmeer as of 1 August 2008.
ISA (Institut de Sélection Animale) is the laying hens breeding division of Hendrix Genetics. ISA provides grandparent and parent animals to the international laying poultry industry. ISA provides a wide range of breeding products attuned to the wishes and demands on the various markets. Globally, ISA has a 48% market share. The ISA team comprises 20 nationalities and is active in over 80 countries.
Servé Hermans used to be Hybro's Managing Director. He will be taking over from the interim management at ISA Antoon van den Berg.
This management change is a direct result of the strategic alliance between Hendrix Genetics and Cobb-Vantress, and Cobb's takeover of Hybro's broiler breeding division.
